Purpose<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

This guide explains the standard procedure for documenting Journal Club presentations on the BDSL Home page.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

1. Create a New Post<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u2022 Log in to the BDSL website and select New \u2192 Post.
\u2022 Use a clear title for the Journal Club presentation and include the following information:
\u2022 Paper title
\u2022 Presenter
\u2022 Presentation date
\u2022 Brief description of the paper

2. Add the Presentation File<\/strong>

Upload the presentation PDF to the Media Library and attach or link the file to the post.

3. Set Access Permissions<\/strong>

To prevent the presentation materials from being publicly distributed, restrict PDF access to: Administrator, Alumni, Lab member, and Undergraduate Internship

4. Select the Journal Club Category
<\/strong>
Assign the post to: – BDSL \/ Journal Club

This keeps all Journal Club presentations organized in the same section of the BDSL website.

5. Review and Publish<\/strong>

Before publishing, check that the paper information, presentation file, access permissions, and category are correct.

Click Publish to make the Journal Club post available on the BDSL Home page.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
